When ground by hand, the coffee bean can unfold its aroma particularly well. This is because the stainless steel conical burr grinder does not rotate as quickly as a disc grinder - this means the powder does not heat up and retains more flavor. And fresh grinding is also fun!
The Metro coffee grinder is light and slim, making it practical to hold and operate. The stainless steel grinder is ball-bearing mounted and can be precisely adjusted to the desired grind setting using a fine adjustment screw. Either very fine for the portafilter machine, or for the Bialetti, the French Press or even filter coffee - it depends on the grind setting, which is set for the chosen brewing method.
