When ground by hand, coffee beans can best develop their aroma. This is because the stainless steel conical burr grinder does not rotate as quickly as a disc grinder - this means the powder does not heat up and retains more flavour. And freshly grinding is also fun!
The Metro coffee grinder is light and slim, making it practical to hold and operate. The stainless steel grinder is ball-bearing mounted and can be precisely adjusted to the desired grind size with a fine adjustment screw. Either very fine for the portafilter machine, or for the Bialetti, French Press or even filter coffee - it depends on the grind size that is set for the chosen brewing method.
