We manufacture the grinding mechanisms for our mills ourselves in our own workshop. We work with stainless steel, as this material guarantees not only cutting efficiency but also durability. Pepper grinders are generally designed to be turned clockwise, an optimization for right-handed users.
Optimizing for left-handed users would mean that the grinding mechanism would have to be left-handed - and that's exactly what we designed and implemented: a mill for left-handed users!
